Welcome to Librarium Online!
I was in a GW the other day looking around and i picked up the Throne of Judgement from the Witchhunters range. Then the idea hit me to convert it into a Chaos Lord/Daemon Prince with Daemonic Stature! I think it would be a really interesting way to make a unique and different Chaos Lord. I am going to use it as my Dark Apostle in my Word Bearer army, since it has all sorts of scrolls on it. Just take of the Inqusitorial guys and replace them with a Lord and some cultists, and tenticles on the chair to make it Daemonic. You would just have to cover up the things that say "Repentia" and cover or remove the Inquisitor symbols. What do you guys think?
Instead of just removing the symbols leave em on and just make a bunch of slashes on to make it look like it was captured and defaced
"They shall all taste OBLIVION!,.....which tastes like Red Bull, which is disgusting."
Probably not a good idea - after all, the throne of judgment is unique, and killing off a major character to create a daemon prince isn't very fluffy:tongue: . Also, i bet that throne is blessed as hell - even if the symbols were defaced, it'd probably burn the ass off anyone less consecrated than a sister of battle. Besides, as long as anything associating it with the imperium or anything is gone, all the swirly bits and decoration can be left, i mean, it can't be that hard to cover them with growths or file them off.Originally Posted by Cypher_Redeemed

He wasn't saying that he was actually using the throne as a captured Witch Hunters relic or anything. What he said was that he was using the throne to depict his daemon lord because it looked cool.
Besides, if anyone could take something holy and desecrate it, it would defintely be a word bearers apostle. They pretty much are the religious casted for Chaos and I'm sure they've got a trick or two up their sleeves.
I was thinking of doing a similar thing if I ever made an Iron Warriors lord with Stature. However, I was planning on strapping him into a Petinent Engine instead. But, same idea.
