Daemon Hunters/witch Hunters
I really need to know how to paint different colors of hair, especially red hair. I have dirty blonde down and i know how to do it.
1. Vermin brown
2. Snakebite leather
3. desert yellow
4. Bleached Bone
I have closed the poll as it has NOTHING to do with this thread or the question at hand. Please don't do this again.
But as to the question..
Brown - using dark brown drybrush light ones or using ink to darken them.
White - using greys mix and drybrush until it's close to white then drybrush white
Never really done red hair so can't really say.
The easiest way to do hair and beards is drybrushing, most hair is modelled so that there are strands so with drybrushing you'll catch these and leave the darker colours below for shading.
Didn't you do a pretty cool trollslayer recently? Or did I dream it...?:unsure:Originally Posted by King Ulrik Flamebeard
Anyway... A nice trollslayer red colour can be acheived by starting off with Red Gore and building up with Blood Red. Then continue with a highlight of Flaming Orange and finally a very light highlight of golden yellow. For darker shades of red hair, leave off the yellow...
No I did a naked slayer Prince
I fogot about him actually... we if you wnat to know how I did that just search the painting forum for ' Garagrim Ironfist ' all the details are within his thread.
