as the title says,
i recently invested in some cadian shock troops, been away from the game for a while so ive lost alot of resources ><
so could anyone give me any tips on painting these shock troops, got 20 to get through :d cant wait
Go over to the GW site, they have a bit(but not much) on cadians there, also, use some spray undercoat. If you have the IG codex it has some in there. Also, what level of quality are we talking about here? normal grunt, special, in-between...
I personnally use one colour for their clothes, one for their armor, and then use flesh and silver for their respective skin and guns/symbols/other. I then give them a thin coat of black and drybrush.
Take a look here for a step by step guide on painting Cadian Shock Troops http://uk.games-workshop.com/imperia...g%2Dstarted/4/
one thing though to make your identification of who is in what squad easier id suggest painting a squad colour on one of the pectoral armour plates and a dot of the same colour on the back of the base.
also if you want hardened vets then paint their clothing in the same colour as the rest of your army but their armour a different colour from your normal troops, this makes them stand out from the rest of your army yet still ties them in with the rest of your force.

Ya, try to also make some kind of symbol or a he sayed before colour on your models to make sure u can destingwish each squad from another. Also painting wise try to ink down cloths, weopeons and armor. But not to much
