I'm trying to do a custom model and I was woundering what are the best robed models for the this or will I need to use Green Stuff to make the to show you how I want the model to look heres a pic of how who I'm trying to make the model look like.
and thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Ok to clarify It's for 40k I want to do this conversion for my thousand son Liutenant so which robed marine models are the best for this conversion.
If you know how to use green stuff good, you can take the Fabious Bile-model.
Remove all those faces and stuff on him and fill the gaps in the robes with GS. Don't glue on his arms or backpack.
Give him that staff of his (rod of torment or something) and then cut down a standard chaos power weapon arm (or pistol, sword whatever) and stick it in the socket where his pistol is supposed to be.
Make a hood in GS and give him a thousand sons-backpack.
There you got the desription of how I made my Lost and the Damned Arch Heretic (except the backapck and the hood)
convert with GS, there are many articles on conversion using GS, it will allow you to put robes on any mini, given a leutenant is wearing powerewd armour underneath, whilst, as someone said, cypher is an obvious choice, you can convert any marine.
I would recomend this:
