This isn't to be rude, but what is that white thing on the staff? It looks like where the hand is suposed to be... maybe if we had another angle it would be easier to tell, but right now it looks like unpainted resin or something. But other than that it looks pretty cool... Why did you go pre-heresy colors anyway? Is your entire army pre-heresy?
I need to make me some of those Chosen of Ahriman... Test them out and such.
Over all, looks good.
You Can't Stop the Eighp
Had Tzeentch before I knew how to play :P
Quite good, certainly well up to table standard,
If you want to spend more time and get him looking better you need to soften and blend hte highlights though
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Heheh. Thanks fellas.
Yeah I should thin out the paints and stuff. I usually whip out one new sorceror a week from bits, like this guy here.. So they arent painted well. I have 3 layers of nothing but spare thousand sons sorcerors that have yet to be painted, but all look completely random. Maybe I'll put more detail later.
And yes.. The white blob in the picture is a hand. Uthizarr's hand was cut off by a Wolf Guard's power blade. For now, he is the only red sorceror in my army.
Looks great, except that white "hand" but the overall feel is great!
you appear to have used orange as both a highlight and as shading.
I'd not have painted the orange strips.
if you try drybrushing the orange next time you'll get a lot better results, and for the shading try using scab red
as for the hand you were looking for a eherial look for this, not a bad attempt,but if you look at;
the little bit of molten fire from the first ones base with a section cut out to take the ushabti haft then gs to cover would look so much better imo.
overall though a nice model, and definetly fluffy.
