http://uk.games-workshop.com/darkelv...re-gallery/20/ Are these wings big enough for a marine? and how would one model them? could i put them between his armour and his backpack so it would look like the backpack doubles as armour for his wings?
Veteran Squads come with a double lightning clawed marine, and I believe you can buy the model individually online as well. It'd probably be around $13US though. You also get a single lightning claw and a single powerfist in the Commander boxed set, however they both go on the same hand so unless you have some mad conversion skills, it would probably look funky.
Another option is to simply get some stiff plasticard and attach them to a regular fist (maybe use some putty to make the hand a little bigger). It would be a little small unless you use the putty, but it would get the idea across. The Veteran Squad is probably your best bet though.
One of the new veterans has a pair of lightning claws.
SOme totally diferent idea for marine wings: mechanical wings.
Look at the hellions from the Dark Eldar range. their skyboards are a loose component.
Those look really cool on marines. (sort of Batman-wings)
You can just replace the backpack with those things, they even have a small jet-engine in the center.
Chaos does not need explaining! guess what? Chaos cannot be explained!Originally Posted by BobaHat
