The_kives' orks, though i'd post these here

well, here are some of my orks....

    warboss
    again
    trukkers
    ...more
    and lootas
    and lootas

the lootas were the first that i painted with my new scheme, so my layering with their skin isn't imho as good as with my trukkers.

anyways, my clan's scheme is mainly blue (deathskull), but every type of a unit has it's own distinct color. red with my trukkers (speed), blue with my lootas (err, looting) and black for my warboss, nobs and elites (if i include them in my army.) other color that i've planned is yellow for my stikkbommas.

    anyway, here are a few....

    ps. they're not based yet!!

not done basing them yet though right?

might want to add a bit more highlights and shadow to them but they look good

I agree with urbanknight there, a wash of green ink on the skin and then a drybrush of green, would do a world of good to bring out the muscle tone.

Apart from that they are looking great. I love the war paint idea.

The war paint looks great, as do the models. But they could be improved as said by adding some layers using inks and highlights. (Mainly on the flesh.)

thanks for the replies. i've been planning on adding green ink to the skin, as i know it would blend the layers together nicely. at the moment my problem is just that i don't have a green ink (excuses, i know...) i've noticed that the layers on those lootas especially are a little blotchy.

depending on the paint you are using you can thin it to make an effective wash...

The_kives, those are neat orks. just place the camera on something stable when taking pics.

I especially love the trukker with the whole red face and no pupils in his eyes. Looks fiersome
I'll go out on a wild goose chase here if you don't mind.

    Good work.
I agree with the rest of the people about shading and stuff.
