I was hoping to give my chaos lord the lower body of a 4 legged creature (due to his daemonic speed) ive been looking at using a chaos dragon ogre body but id like some other ideas from you guys before i begin.
maybe you could convert a centigor? That could be quite cool.
Life is too serious to be taken seriously
Ive thought of converting a fourlegged lord too, perhaps 4 scything talons from the hormagount sprue would make nice arachnoid legs. Alternativly you could use a Fleshhound as a base for conversion.
The Reaver of Slaanesh is unleashed upon the mortal realm again. Those foolish enough to name him call him Charcos, and he has begun an unholy crusade for forbidden lust. The half daemon, half man stalks us in our dreams... Craving us of our essence... Of our sould...
a centigor body would be good but i think that the dragon ogre would be your best bet as a chaos lord should be big,
how about using archons horse, chop of its head and place a large model (minotaur, ogre, troll etc) for a torso and body parts it will give a suitably large chaos lord much tainted and mutated.

Aha! I am making a 4legged Lord too..
Im using Nid Claws.. and making it all freaky and possessed
I am Narcotick. Fear me.
LO Musicians clan.
One of my cyborks is 4 legged, with the torso constructed of a 2nd ed Nod Mega armor backpack, and then 4 gaunt limbs for legs. It looks spiderly, and kinad crudely done, which is great for orks. However I'm not sure if it'll work as well for a monstrous chaos lord.
I think you should get some plasticard rod and just go crazy haha. Get a few sizes, and some green stuff. Just cut up a bunch of pieces and go nuts!
Thats what I would do...
You Can't Stop the Eighp
Had Tzeentch before I knew how to play :P
Maybe use a tyranid warrior lower body and green stuff on a second pair of legs. Space marine torsos fit them perfectly.

"Your kid puked on me. I should get extra marks for that."
I like the idea of tyranid warrior bits... Maybe you could try something where the model has a pair of warrior legs, and then his other pair of "legs" are a pair of arms, where, due to his mutations, he is forced to use them as legs.
If money isnt an issue, something like this old Scyla model could make for a nice (if not slightly huge) lower body.
Apathy is its own reward...
