I have about 17 marines and 2 rhinos and a lord
How much paint and what paint do I need?
One bottle of paint should paint all of those troops and much more.
As for what colors to use - that really depends on what colors you like and what you want to use to represent your death guard. I believe the true colors of deathguard are a bone color with camo green shoulder pads.
I myself have painted up quite a bit of Nurgle themed stuff and predominantly use these colors (note I use vallejo paints):
If you can only use GW paints:
Cayman Green - Catachan Green
Camoflague green - Camo Green
dead flesh - Rotten Flesh
brown ink- Same
pale flesh - Try Elf Flesh
red ink - Same
purple ink - Same
flesh ink - Same
Yeah I forgot to mention the bone color. Works very well for subdued lightening of paint. Also various reds work well for contrast too. Start with the darkest shade of red, wash with brown and highlight back up. Works well and is easy to do.Originally Posted by Andusciassus
