Welcome to Librarium Online!
I would really like some tips that anyone can give me on just ways to make my miniatures look better. Thanks
I'm a real novice painter, but I think I've found a nice way to add a bit of wear to any kind of Emblems, like the chest piece of SM or the Crux Terminatus. First, after an undercoat of white, apply some yellow to the Crux. After thats dry, paint a bit of Bronze on it. When that dries, add just a little bit of black ink to it, make sure it flows in nicely. Then keep adding layers of Bronze then Black ink to it until you get the desired affect. I'm assuming you're using GW paints, the outcome with other paints may be differnet so...use at your own risk
The best tip I can give you is to read through all the forums. I have managed to pick up bits and pieces that have improved my painting skills. There are also articles you can look through (home page), on the subject of painting. As a fellow novas painter it has helped me substantially.
If Wolves were meant to fly, wouldn’t the Emperor have given them wings?
