    Krylon Tripe-Thick Crystal Clear Glaze

Anyone tried this product for varnish? I picked it up today, considering to use it after my crystal-cleared models still got a lot of paint chipping.

Please let us know what you think of it. I believe it is a new product. I use the regular crystal clear varnish and I really haven't had much of an issue with chipping.

The only concern I would have is from the description:

"This bright, clear acrylic coating gives a glass-like illusion of depth."

I don't know what the "illusion of depth" will do to the look of the paint. But afterwards it says one coat is the same as 3 coats of another brand and I have put several coats on figures before with no problems.

Again - give us a report on how it worked for you once you have tried it.

    Cheers,

    -Mike
