This be my third conversion, my first one using modeling putty.
i posted a unpainted version of this guy inn conversions, but
now hes painted and here he is!
all i need to do is paint base black and highlight grey and white to make it a city-ish scene.
So tell me what you think!
(Next im gona make a retinue of shadowkin...)
Not bad. But did he just own a member of his legion? Because they both look black (or is it the lighting?)
Lol no, hes painted midnight blue which i gues doesnt show very well with my ccamera, and he has gold shoulder pad outlineing..
and the guy on the floor is a SM, jsut ssome random blacck SM with bleach bone shoulderpad putlines AND a purity seal to show its a SM, on top
(if i ever start an SM amry itl be that paint scheme...)
.... Thnx tho.:w00t:
Sorry couldn't help it...
Bob (the not-so-blue Nightlord SM): Hey Zso wasup...
Bob: Whats the matt-
Stage direction- Zso tears off Bob's leg.
Bob: OMG, what did you do? "sob" I am bleeding...
Zso: Aieeeee! (and he floats away)
yeah..he looks like hss floating a bit, but hes not...
bare in mind i jsut got into painting and modeling 2 1/2 or so months ago.. =(
It's a good start, friend.
I like the composition of the diorama, one thing though. It's the lords left foot, if you make him point his toes downwards it will give so much more motion and life to the model.
And so what if he killed one of his guys, when ever the Lord bites the dust just be sure to put him in a dread
Haha, great conversion.
Perhaps scorch marks and flames on Bob, representing take off.
Yeah its the foot, but i didnt wana have to cut all the metal probly screw his leg up try to reglue the foot mess up and then end up...sc***ed, but thnx! for the positive coments!:w00t:
makes me happy, when i get his shadowkin retinue started il post them, gona do some heavy conversions, least thats my plan.
What you could do is to, before cutting or risking the model in any way, take one of the legs "bob" left you with and remodel this to have the wanted angles. If it works out, just saw the leg of the Lord and replace it as a whole.cut all the metal probly screw his leg up try to reglue the foot mess up and then end up...
Or just keep it as it is, it's still a nice diorama.
