Well I dont know about you guys but I love getting ideas from movies for model conversions so far I have a Dr. Satan (House of 1,000 Corpses), The Creature from The Village, and now Voldemort and the Death Eaters (Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire)... I guess I was just wonndering does anybody else use movies to get modeling designs for characters?

You can't deal with my infinite nature can you?

though i have converted up a dark magician from the yu-gi-oh range for my chaos.

NOt movies but comics. I have this ongoing conversion project of making Chaos Space Marine Champions of the main characters from the old ABC-warrior series, if any one remembers.

I'm half done with Blackblood and in an early stage on Deadlock.
Deadlock was the guy that gave me the inspiration for Chaos magic in the first place.

I definitely use movies and comics as an inspiration, but not for the actual visual representation. For me it's all about drawing inspiration for the poses:

I was kind of working on making a miniature representing Purgatori character from Chaos Comics, but had some trouble with getting parts, so it's on suspension ATM.

And I was thinking of converting a Callidus Assassin to look like on of those vampire-fighting Sisters present in Vampirella Monthly.

Computer games are a great source..

I'm still trying to work out how I'm going to get my Inquisitorial Storm Troopers to look like the Combine elites from Halflife 2.
