First of all, I hope everyone can suspend their disbelief and adherence to Eldar fluff at the door, since this model is just used to represent a wraithlord; not to be true to the fluff. So hopefully, after reading this, everyone can comment SIMPLY as a model, and not as an Eldar Wraithlord from WH40k.
Also, which one looks better? As I havn't fixed the position of the gun yet. Slung across the back, or in the hand of the model? Anyways, no more words, take a look guys:
Time Spent: 1 week
- SM Metal Dreadnought Body and Arms
- SM Metal Dreadnought Leg Stub (For left arm)
- WH Penitent Engine Legs
- WH Penitent Engine Connector (For shoulder armor)
- SM Sensor (For shoulder sensor)
- Cigarette Lighter Shield (For extended shoulder)
- Vyper Jetbike Seat (For core wires)
- Bass guitar strings (For core wires)
- Brass tubing (Central core)
- Serpent Custom Arms and Hands
- Tallgeese 3 Heavy Buster Rifle
This is going to be so badass when you're done...
I vote for slung across the back!
while i voted for gripped in hand, i personally would vote for screw the gun, find the titanic sword used by Sword Strike, or Sword Impulse gundam and go with that.
It looks like something from Armoured Core, the PS2 games.
I think you should mount the gun on one of the shoulders and give him a sword. But I like him holding it more than him having it on his back.
I can read now!
If you do put putthe rifle in the hand put in in the right hand it'll make it look like its ramming something
Pew pew pew! (Had too)
I voted for a slung rifle. I'd put it below the power plant if I were you to keep it from sticking out to much. I'd also consider shortening the rifle to just in front of the 'hump' since it's seriously long now and, IMO, doesn't fit in well with the 40k 'look'.
What did you use for the right upper arm/shoulder? If it's a gun-arm I suggest bitz-ordering a Furioso right arm to make them match.
I'm not sure I'd want an army like yours (when it's done) but I can't fault it's originality
