Okay, fellas (and gals).
I need your opinions. I am planning on (at some point) redoing my Remigo Chapter. For now I am painting them all into Imperial Fists but I like my own chapter so much that I'm not going to phase them out just yet. I'll probably restart them when I've done my Fists.
I need your opinion on which new colour schem to give them as the flat grey colour is really rather boring (and painting 2000 points of Death Korps kinda ruined the fun of painting grey for me... )
I'm going to stay with the black and white Iron Star chapter badge as I think it is too cool to get rid of. The blue shoulder plates will also remain. Below I have made six examples. Which do you like best. Any other ideas for a colour scheme are also more than welcome.

Lets hear what you think. My current favorite is bottom row, middle.
I'd say the white one is best, but the black and red one in the lower right is nice too, though I feel both need some colour other than white on their chest symbols. But thats just my preference.

The balck and white one is cool- but any split colour scheme like that can get really frustratin.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
I like the white or the green, I know green looks really cool when you have highlighted them (I love my hawks).
The Red looks good as well
I’m no big fan of the "split" colors schemes.
The all white or half black/white works well IMO. They work well with the blue shoulder pads.

Ok Boba, great to hear the Remigo chapter are not quite binned yet. My personal preferences are; White, Red, Green, White and Black. The white does work rather well with the blue pads but maybe a bit plain; the green looks rather garish, the other two look a bit dull. These are the prefered colours of mine, I hope you do tests first.
Color balance wise I think the grey looks the best overall in appearance. The problem with these kinds of pictures is the colors are not what the finished model would be so it is hard to get a good idea.
The grey when highlighted can look really sharp. To cut down the monotany of the grey you could add more color to say - the helmets, the backpack, put chapter markings on the knee pad, etc. There are ways to jazz up the grey but still keep that overall look.
The green and blue doesn't look like it will go as good together as the grey. The white looks ok but then white is a paint to paint - so if it isn't your favorite I wouldn't bother. The two tone ones look rather busy and I think it is the colors used.
I hate to be the odd man out but I still believe the first choice is the best. It would be easier to work with to add the little details to make it pop out. Probably what you will have to do (especially if you like a few of the combinations) is paint up a couple individuals in the various schemes to see what they really look like.
