I want to make some Company Banners for my Space Wolves Chapter. Paper is out of the question, I need something that is fairly durable and easy to draw/paint on.

If Wolves were meant to fly, wouldn’t the Emperor have given them wings?

Metal? Try buying the IG standard berear and sawing off the standard. You'll need to file off the designs, but the basic idea is the same. The only I can think of is it might be too small.

For a cheeper alternative you could glue two pieces of plasticard together, slightly overlapped and use gree stuff to mold them so you get that 'flag is blowing in the wind effect'.

Also, I don't know much about SW fluff, but you could always convert a standarb bearer unique to your army. Maybe a wolf pelt?

Yes, Wolf pelts would be a nice touch, but too much work for a simple Space Marine.

If you do them not-quite-perfect, then they should be relativley easy. Pasticard for the banner, then use Wolf Pelt bitz around the edges.
Henceforth no man shall set foot upon the world, and all around shall be set sentinals to ward away unwary spacecraft. We must accept that this place is lost to us forever, and is now the eternal habitation of abomination.

"Green Stuff" is epoxy putty that is used to fill gaps or detail.
