    Concept Art for Wraithguard Conversion

Considering working up 10 wraithguard for a small Iyanden army recently, at least until I found out that they were 18CDN each. Feh! I'm not paying two bills for my basic troop choices!

Hence, the wraithguard conversion project was born.

    Objectives:
    - Keep the cost per model to 13CDN or less in bitz, preferably 10CDN or less
    - Create a low-tech look

    Draft:
Head - Chaos skulls with guitar wire coming out of the back, plus this for the body:

    Thoughts, suggestions?

IMO, that wouldn't look too bad. Whats the body your using? I know thats a tau gun, but I can't see what the body is...
By day he fought with sword and shield.....
By night he fought with pen and parchment.....
    He was....The Warrior Poet.......

    Fear the ANZAC Clan!!!!!

    ORDER OF THE SHADOWY FLAME!!!

The body looks like a Swooping Hawk/Howling Banshee with added armour.
The idea is good and the concept is great, I just don't think the gun fits so if you maybe could find another bit for the weapon and I would be happy.

Actually, the whole top body is really simple, just the stealth suit.

Any suggestions for guns? Remember, gun has to have a cheap way to get it, I would love to use the front bit from the starcannon, as I think it would make the perfect gun, BUT it's $5.00 a piece.

Heh, I would, but used them already in my warp spider conversions, so using it again will cause problems with WYSIWYG for tournaments.
