is it possible to put like spinefests and model them without GS possibe?
what do you mean? of you need green stuff to make spine gaunts? offcorse not...
no, no, no, I ment that can u cut a spinfeast to make it look like a ST?whit out GS
I don't think so....if you did you would just need to cut off some of the spinefist itself, but then it would be more like a prodding talon....
It would be easier if you used a small bit of green stuff.
Ready for the best money saving tip ever!!!!
Buy a box of gaunts and a box of genestealers... build your stealers with the rending claws and extend carapace etc... take all 8 pairs of of the scything talons in the genstealer box and wack them on your termagaunts...
voila, 16 hormagaunts + 8 stealers.
He then deserve his ass to be kicked 'cus of that massive WYSIWIG-jerk he is.Originally Posted by zhaf

Gareths tip is a good one. Nobody should moan a a brood of mix hormies and termy conversions - as long as some look like leapers nobody will mind.
yeah I know... I play nids myself and I haven't converted all my leaping warriors into leaping positions either...
I just wanted to say that there accually are players like that... once (few years ago) I had an argue with a guy that almost didn't let me use my homas cus I didn't glue the adrenal grands on their talons... man I was mad!
But anyways I agree that is a very good conversion.
Here's a nice tutorial on how to make wings out of wire and green stuff! [The link!], it's in pdf format. So knowing that it's really easy to make anything flying... may it be ripper, gargoyels, warriors or tyrants... and they look very nice ^^
The best tip to deal with players like that is to say "fine, then we don't play" and start packing your models. He will either give in or, if he's really stubborn, let you leave; but then he probably wasn't worth playing anyway. Sit down at the painting station and work on all those unfinished models you probably have instead
If it's in a tournament you should have referees to ask and they are usually more concerned with having things go smoothly rather than strict WYSIWYG

98% of the teenage population does or has tried smoking pot.
The other 2% are smart enough to question the 'science' behind that number...
And it's spelled EMPEROR!
