Hey Folks...one again im reporting back in with some new stuff.
Now ive got my exams behind me (Passed with 82%...Hoo Ah) ive found some time (and a decent camera) to take all new Pics of my Marines.
Ok lets begin with it. Here is the NEW Stuff:
Terminator Chappie Backside:
And there is still Mucho more to see at my gallery:
You find it at:The Emperors Rangers Gallery
Youre all invited to have a look. Comments and constructive criticism always welcome.
Enjoy the Pics
that is a very well painted army! :w00t:
I especially like your green berets
Does the assault marine sarge have a 'fro or is he wearing a beret?
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
I seriously love that Landraider, it's beautifully done
Mysterious Member of the ANZAC Clan
The Raider is really cool, as well as many of your other minis.
Some parts of paint on the models are a bit thick (the chaplains crozim for example) and you should probably tin their paint down.
Gold can be a pain to paint. I usually do like this: Start off with a good coat of shining gold over chaos black. then apply a coat of chestnut ink, highlight the crozim with shining gold again and finsih with a highlight of burnished gold.
Works great
Things go better with Petter
Check out my gallery: Click here to see!
They look great and the details are aweseome, but your flesh seems a little fake.
Thanks for the comments...
@CBrate: Its definetely a beret...ever seen a dark green 'fro ?
@Da Mighty Camel: Yup...painting Gold can be a pain in the rear end sometimes.
But in regard to the Chappies Crozius...it might look like its a little bit too much paint on it but this is because its off the cameras Focus and pretty blurry. Maybe ill retake this piccie.
@Swordy: The flesh...hmm well painting faces had never been my thing...i try as good as i can...and i think if compared to my first tries ive improved at least a little bit.
Again thank you all for your comments and criticism. Are ther any advices you could further give me...for painting faces for example ?
Always got an open ear for hints and advices...so keep em coming
