I am drawing up concepts for a Ice world table top. I would like to know if any one has some good idears for modeling snow and ice.
I also have some Chaos marines that i want to model for very cold weather.I thought it would be cool to model some ice on them ( like icicles hanging off bolters and stuff )
so any tips??
thanks in advance

You could use foam cut like a hill but instead of painting it in browns and greens paint it in light blues for shadow and white for the highlights. From there you could add some sparse patches of static grass with snow flock or just use whatever it is you want for snow.
Games workshop came out not to long ago with some scenery workshops in the black
gobbo with the ogres, ect. (Runs and grabs link)
