I am currently making a small Tau city. I have six or seven buildings and a landing pad. I like them alot but they just don't look Tau. I will try to get pictures as soon as possible but if anyone has some suggestions it would be great!
The only reason Tau building look "Tuay" is that the are made out of soft smooth material and have not straight edges. Well cant wait to see the pics!
It's been a minute.
I did plenty of curves, and everything is round with almost no 90 degree angles. I think it will look alot better once it is painted white. ive got to borrow a digital camera to get the pics up so it may take a while.
I have personally been going through some major terrain creation and the advice I have for you when it comes to tau building and terrain can be summed into a few simple points
-Engravings, (you can take a look at the GW website and download tao fonts)
I have used these guidelines to make a few fairly nice peices of tau terrain/buildings. I used blue foam core, (the kinda stuff people use for insulation), and cut out three standard half hemispheres which I then molded with rubber. With these starndard I created an entire array of Tau scenery by combinging the three different size hemispheres, and PVC piping of varying diameters.
The hardest part is making the molds, but once your done with that, your basically set.
Hope it helps.

Thanks for the idea darius. I might just have to try that.
right now all of my buildings are made out of bowls, cups, and just about anything else circular. One of the building has an antenna that is like the one of of a gun drone( alot like the one off the GW site)
I can't take the pictures yet because it has been raining alot recently and I don't have time to spraypaint them.
i tried to make some tau buildings by using a pringle can, and a 100 cd case ting, it ended up pretty cool
i need to find something interesting to put here
Ok Scotty, jokes over... NOW BEAM UP MY CLOTHES!
I'd like to see some pictures. But your ideas seem pretty cool...
I do apologise. My previous signature was positively turd. Let's hope this'll be better.
Aw, crap. I failed.
