Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well I just got into 40k and decided to buy a few mini's to paint. I've painted a few Battletech minis before these but aside from them i'm new to the painting world. The pictures go from the oldest models (about a month ago) to the newest (yesterday). All of the older models have been updated with more blacklining as with the new ones.

those look pretty good (did you paint them from black or white undercoats) as it looks like it is from a black undercoat as the white looks very smooth
i think that your chapter name could be better though
Wow for a first time squad those are excellent. You did an excellent job in being perfectly neat. Nice and crisp:yes: I Like.
They came from an off white undercoat. The white is just a couple layers of really thin paint.
I wanted the name to have Sturm in it.......they were going to be the Sturmtroopers.
Perhaps Sturm Fusilers, or Sturm Lancers......can't get much worse then "UltraMarines":shifty:
Why not "Storm Guard" (or Sturm Wächter... or whichever order it would go auf deustch (in German)) then? It's the mixing of languages that's probably giving people trouble, not the name itself. Or even "Sturmsoldat" (probably closer as "Sturm Soldat", but since "stormtrooper" is compound, and German works essentially the same way...)
they look very good but I personally donĀ“t like the blue on the bolters. ItĀ“s to dark I would have used a more brighter shade of blue, maybe enchanted blue. For the rest they look quite neat.
DonĀ“t mess with the dicegod
i think they look great, the white scheme is very clean and obvious that they're the good guys! I find it strange why so many people paint their marines in black and dark colour schemes... its just so chaos!
White is also very astranauty... very space age.
Not sure about the grey in place of silver though, and you've got mould lines everywhere which spoil your hard work. Also in a warzone white wouldn't stay that clean... They're my only gripes.
Overall a good job.
first I was gonna suggest adding color to the shoulderpad rims but I actually really like them just like this.
as for a name donĀ“t have it a three word name with all the words starting with a K, because that could get ugly

Well done mate, great start for a first squad! Just a few pointers for the next batch...
As someone else mentioned, file, sand or scrape the molding lines before undercoating. They can really stand out, especially with a light colour.
I would use a pin vice to drill out the gun barrels on the guns. I used to think it was a bit retentive when people suggested that, but it makes a big difference to the look. Makes them less 'toy' to look at.
The banner on your sergeant really should be on the front of the pole, not the back.
Nice work overall though, I especially like how you did the vials on the apothecary. Good stuff mate!
Beware the Agapanthers!

alright, i'll remember to scrape the mold lines off first next time, I think i did that with the latest one I painted. I built it with the command squad pack I got, i guess he's a Captain?
