I recently got a 80+ worth of models in the Steel Legion range.
These are no doubt one of the coolest armies i've ever seen! Problem is i'm not sure how to paint them. I was thinking of going the Steel legion standard colors but im not a great worker in the colors of tan or such.. I was maybe thinking of going more of a German look from Call of Duty 2 (I play games too much)
Thinking of using colors such as:
-Black Hats, White or brown breathers, Grey Coat, black boots
-White Hats, Black (or leatherish?) breathers, grey coat, black boots
What do you think?
As for vehicles Im not sure what color exactly I should paint them, would have to research more, unless you think cadian colored vehicles would be okay contrast with the greyish guys.

So black helmets brown Gas Masks and lighish grey coats? Sound great!
It's been a minute.
With their hats and rebreathers, I think a WWI German look might go well. Have you seen pics of 1918 'lozenge' camoflauge? I think they used it on captured Mk IVs and their A7 tanks. It might be more in theme that Cadian pattern.
I think the balck hats and white rebreathers would be the best of the options.
Beware the Agapanthers!
