Just got done building my Chimera after a few nights work and wanted to show her off before I got down to painting it.
Since my initial list will be mechanized, I've decided to arm all my Chimeras to the teeth and lose the whole "transport" look in favor of a more "Chimera Light Battle Tank" look. That meant using the Predator turret, making a new multi-laser, and using the HW Crew Heavy Bolter to give it a meaner appearance for the hull. Since my theme is the IG on campaign look, I've loaded up the Chimera with stowage. I just hope I can give it a good paintjob! Guess we'll soon see.
Sorry for the semi-blurry pics, I promise the pics will be better once it's painted.

Nice, does anyone still use the chimera turret?
They shall be my Imperial Guard and they shall know some fear...

Seems to me that someone doesn't like the ever-so-useful hull mounted lasguns.
I like how you turned the predator autocannon into a multi-laser, it's not what I suggested on IRC but this looks better than what I had in mind back then. I myself prefer to keep my tanks clean and not load them up with bags and equipment on the outside of the hull. If there's enough room for 10 geared up marines in a rhino, there's room for 12 guardsmen and their gear in a chimera, otherwise I think it looks real nice, looking forward to seeing it painted.
Bobo-of-petrov: I certainly don't. The predator turret looks much better, making the chimera look more like the light/medium tank that it is instead of an APC. Besides, I find that chimera autocannon turrets(Imperial Armour 1) are well worth their points.
Looking forward to seeing it painted buddy. One thing I might sugest is using the last track guard bit on the accessory sprue to cover up the last part of the track on the top of the tank. It will need to be cut down slightly but it makes it look much better.
I used this technique on my Krieg Chimera.
I know the pics aren't the best for making my point but you get the idea.
Ah, another who used the lovely predator turret. It's originally from GW's website, no?
A friend of mine went one step further with this. He removed the engine block or whatever stickong out on the sides of the chimera, and added armor plating made out of plasticard. It gives the thing a tough, bulky feel and it looks great.
Maybe you could try it too; just stick the plates on with blue-tac to see if you like it.

Great work, as usual. I like the look of the entire tank. And by the way, si that a Brass Imperial Eagle from Forge World right above the multi-laser?
Nice work! I was thinking about doing the same thing for a WWII ig army, and using it as a sherman tank.
To do the bidding of the god of decay death and corruption is to be rid of all things that makes you weak only in return for the control of your soul!
it just occured to me that those left over chimera terrets would make good tarantulaswith a bit of terrain work...
I really like your preadator turret. makes it looks sorta like a bradley tank:
