Heres wut i would do. for one terrain, make a rhino and shoot it with a bb gun or something and cut it up with a serrated knife. then hit it with a baseball bat a few times. now u have a blown up, shot up, assaulted tank to hide behind. then you should make a little temple with pillars and stuff to hide behind (the dark angels are highly religious, but not as much as the templars). then you could have a forest. forests are always good. then take some ruined churches like the ones in the warhammer 40k beginner set. that seems about right.

I built a semi-technologicly advanced/wrecked/ash world, so my base colour is grey... I used miniature train set balast to coat my bases and terrain features with... the gray really works great with the green... just thought i'd let you know

I really like how grey looks with DA as well I do mine sort of half way between an ash waste and a rocky terrain. It helps them blend in with just about any terrain. Here they are out of the city taking a country jaunt.

rocky terrain with yellows and dark greys and light greys and maybe little bits of green, and you need forests. Dont blow up a rhino unless you got money, becuase you wasting 25$ or whatever it is outside of the us.
    Back from a long adventure.
