this christmas I'm pretty sure I'll get 2 leman russes and since my guard army only uses one I'm thinking of converting the other into a Hellhound by removing the cannon barrel and replacing it with two flamers and not giving it sponsons anyone else have any ideas about what i could use.

I came, I saw, I got a different type of Leman Russ.

Sounds okay, but here what it says to me: Good conversion, BAD idea.
The Hellhound is fast attack, so you would think it would be sleek and fast. The Chimera chassis really doesn't convey this very well, so if anything, a smaller chassis would be better. Although if you want...
Henceforth no man shall set foot upon the world, and all around shall be set sentinals to ward away unwary spacecraft. We must accept that this place is lost to us forever, and is now the eternal habitation of abomination.

convert it into a demolisher. Lemans are WAY to big for hellhounds which are on a chimera chassis

I like the idea myself!

My suggestion would be to help cut the size a little bit, don't use a turret at all. Use the front hull-mount for the inferno cannon thingy (and find an alternate for the normal hull-mount Hellhound weapon), and put armour plating over the turret mount.

IMO, properly done you could have a very cool-lookin' hellhound, one more akin to assaulting trenches than zipping around like a high-speed bomb.
