This is my swooping hawks exarch. I've made him from parts from a SH exarch, a guardian, picture wire, skeletons, storm guardian, and some green stuff. It's my first attempt to use green stuff on anything thats not a vehicle. I think he's turning out quite well. Comments welcome.

Very VERY nice. I want it...:shifty: anyway. Good job post the pic for when it is painted!!
Whoa thats a good conversion! :w00t:
Is that a cloak he is whering or is it something else? And I think the skulls are a bit more Darkeldarish then Eldar IMO.
It's been a minute.
Good conversion; it looks great!
Those skulls are an Eldar wargear piece... Its called Web of skulls, you'd definately remember it if you'd faced one...:ninja: .. As lond as the skulls are painted like crystals then it will look perfect.. GREAT CONVERSION
Very cool. I'm not to sure about that cloak, I think it will look better without. But apart from that, it is great.
Wrong... better than that. All great, and how did you make the cloak? I'll need to do something like that for a warlock on a jetbike.Originally Posted by general jigger
You might want to do something to break up the chest though... maybe a grenade belt, or a trophy of some description. This is great, anyhow.
Hell bent on twisting the rules of Inquisitor to my dark desires.Mod Edit -
Ignore this person. What a waste of perfectly good oxygen. There are kids in Antartica or China or Korea or some other country that would kill for the oxygen you are wasting with each passing minute.
Such a great idea to use a Guardian body for it! As said, very cool. Too bad he apparently can't fleet.
Warhammer Fantasy: Warriors of Chaos, High Elves
Warhammer 40k: Eldar, Space Marines, Orks
Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I really appreciate it. As for the cloak, it was an unintended addition. In attaching the wings to the guardian body I ended up causing some damage to both the body and the wings. So in an effort to hide the mash-job I'd done on the back I decided to put the cloak on.
It started out as more of a cape; one piece and flowing back from his shoulders. I couldn't seem to make it look right though so then I remembered those long duster coats from australia. They all have slits up the back to allow you to sit on a horse. So I applied the same idea to a cape and I came up with this "Two-strand cape". I thinks it adds a little motion to the model, kind of like the chains and cape from the spawn comic book character.
Yes that is supposed to be a web of skulls... I'm not sure how to paint the skulls to look like crystal though.
Crystal is kind of difficult to paint, a mass of shading and highlightning (you can take inspiration from the Fire Prism in the 'dex).
