I'm going to start painting orion from the Warhammer Wood Elves soon, but I'm not sure of the order of layers to use to obtain that light green tone flesh. I was thinking of starting with snot green on top a black basecoat, followed by goblin green, and then (goblin green + white). Any tips?
It all depends how much time you are considering spending on the model. For Orion, it would warrant at least 4-5 highlights for maximum effect.
I would recommend dark angels followed by snot green followed by goblin green.
Then a glaze (20% dark green ink, 80% water, 2-3 coats) to even out the highlights.
Then a final highlight of goblin green(50%) mixed with yellow(30%) and white(20%), only on highlightd areas.
Ok thanks for the tip!
