Ok i need some advise i'm planning on starting a world eaters army for 40k and i already have a good idea for my deamon prince but i just wanna know what other people think.
The idea is simple (well how to descirbe it is anyway) i'm gonna try and recreate that huge demon centaur thingy from warcraft 3 (you know the one the 2 orks fight in the FMV after the ork campaign)
the basis of the model is going to be archaons steed with the 40k demon princes torso, at this point in time i am still pondering over which arms and head to use ( the thought of krieger crash thrax's power claws did spring to mind but im worried this would ne a bit too iron warriorish and besides i kinda like the thought of a ruddy great axe.
Your opinions please
for demon centaur thingy read pit lord
hopefully these will give you some idea about what i'm on about
Thought about using a Dragon ogre for the base? I think Blizzards inspiration for the Pit Lord comes from this one at least.
I did think about using the dragon ogre shaggoth but, the hair from the head comes all the way down its back and i didn't fancy having to carve it all off. The reason i chose archaons mount is that i like the sense of movement it creates, perfect for 20 tons of rampaging khorne lord having a temper tantrum.
The major problem i'm having is the arms i've already made a fool of mysefl on the khorne lord challenge post (see the 40k chaos section damn those codex reprints) so i'm thinking of giving him a huge pair of claws try to think of inquizitor space marine arms with tyranid bits attached.
Hehe, yeah I saw that in the chaos forum.
Sounds like a cool idea, don't know what you should do though.
i may use ogre gorger arms with big claw care of the tyranids
