Looking for some advice on converting a terminator librarian for use with deathwing. My army is all new plastic termies and dreads, and my tired looking 10 year old space hulk libby really isn't looking the part. He's too short, and the posing is rubbish.
I've had some advice over on the marines forum, and it sounds like a starting concept could be lysanders body with some GK arms. Would this work? I've done plenty of plastic conversions, but not metal. I assume the arms would need pinning. Any suggestions as to producing a hood? greenstuff?
Thanks for any help.
I'd start with the old Tigurius body and add some plastic terminator arms and legs. Or you could use some of the other Librarians if you find Tigurius too hard to work with, (his arms look pretty stuck on there.)
If you jyst want to make a psychic hood, a shoulder pad fitted around the head and cut to shape with a couple guitar strings attached looks good.
Sounds like a pretty sweet conversion , I checked out the Lysander and Grey Knight bits , they should fit together without much fiddl'n. The hood bothers me though , there isn't much room on the Lysander model for a full-blown hood. Check out the stock terminator librarian , they just made some of the edges stick out , you can probably do this with some Green Stuff.
P.S You better show us that awesome model when your done!
