    A Striking Scorpion [pics]

Ok, here´s the only model I painted in my Eldar army. Pics are a bit blurry, need some more training with teh camera.

If I would have worked more on this one, I would have done some yellow highlights on the armour but since I had already spent several hours on him (it's a pain to highlight from dark angels green to scorpion green and make it smooth) I skipped it.

    Comments are as alwyas welcommed!

Heaps good mini - how the codex deplicts a striking scorpion to look like.

    Very well done, nice shading/highlighting

Wow, thanks for the nice comments! I like this brighter color scheme one scorpions a lot more then the new GW one. This is a lot more contrasting and works better when a lot of them is painted in these colors.

Join the bunch. Altough the models themselves arn't that ugly, the poses ruins them a lot (why is this one scratching his leg?)

look very nice and clean but could you get a bit more light on scene. Specially the last 2 are very dark IMO.

    yeah looks great.

I sold my Eldar because i went off the grey weapons i'd painted. I'd have preffered to have painted them wraithbone like yours.

I'll be doing a new Eldar army in the future, and i'll be painting the weapons wraithbone.

paint up the rest gems, and some darker green along the edges to contrast it.

Other than that, smooth paint job.

Other gems..? Oh, you mean those little blobs that covers some part of his armour? Hmm, I don't know if I have the power to do it, he's varnished and after all. It would look better though, will probably do it on the Exarch (he looks more special then).
