Welcome to Librarium Online!
Many times I am seperated from my models for long periods of time, so after awhile dust settles on them. I do my best to get the dust off, without ruining my half painted models. So my question is what are effective ways to remove dust and what are good ways to keep dust off
Please & Thanks
I'd buy a long, very soft bristles paint brush from a hobby store. That way you can dust them down every now and then without fear of scraping (tooth brushes are often too rigid and will chip paint). Vacuuming won't work- the static attraction is too strong. Some people use those little slide cleaners -the brushes with the squeezy rubber bit that 'blows' air when you squeeze it- but I find them a bit too fiddly to dust whole armies. Alternatively- try and find a display canbinet you can close and reduce the amount of dust that gets in in the first place. Hope that helped.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
Canned air is good. Also if you keep them in a figure carrying case - that works well. Barring that Ikea makes a few display cabinets that are very affordable - around $60 us.

A simple way of keeping dust off them is to simply place a towel, tablecloth, or anything simlilar overtop, that way you can just lift it off, and have your amry in whatever formations you left them in, unless of course they have drying paint or something like that then i reccommend a display case, or simply put them in a drawer somewhere.
what about laying them for a few seconds in water. I donĀ“t know if it works but atleast the paint is strong enough to stay on the models.
DonĀ“t mess with the dicegod
