When i paint my ultramarines, I spray on a black undercoat, give 1 coat of ultramarines blue, 1 inking of dark blue, then dry-brush ultramarines blue as final coat before highlighting.
Does anyone else use a similar techinique because ive found it works well?
The only problem is that when painting tanks this way it gets patchy, they look good when gaming, but when close up they dont look as good.
Is it a good idea to water down the ink or something?
well i normaly water down my inks just because i t amkes them a little more even
do you find it keeps it to the cracks as opposed to raised surfaces better?
