Dark Eldar. I have a bunch of guys, but I got some stuff off ebay so it all looks different. So, how can I paint my army quickly yet still have it look presentable? (Quickly as in 3-5 hours). Also, what color scheme should I go for, I like dark colors, and my favorites are red and black. So, any help will be appreciated, thanks.
red and black would be a perfectly acceptable color scheme... it's your army so u shud definitely use your favorite colors.. as long as they go well enough which red and black would. if u need to do them quickly just use flat color.. ie layer of red and layer of black followed by a quick drybrush along the edges of the armour in particular.. also to do a squad quickly paint them in batches, don't paint each model as an individual do the whoe squad.. for example paint all the red bits on one and then on the next one and so on until all the red bits on all the squad memebrs are done...

Ok, so have the armor red, keep the body and head black, then color eyes red, metal silver/chainmail drybrush, then drybrush whole thing with white?
No, don't drybrush them with white.
base them with white spray, paint their armour red, then what you want black you paint black. Then mix red and a little black with quite a lot water and paint it all over. this will make the darkred go into any recesses and shade the model.
That could go really fast.
If you drybrush with white it will look really... not good.
That would probaly not work to well...i think it is gonna be hard to do any army to any standard of any good size in 3-5 hours. For dark eldaer i would just gor with flat colors if you want to make it fast. You might just wanna stick with red and black. Paint ther amror/eyes blood red and leave everything else black. Maybe drybrush the black codex grey. Paint the base, i think that would probaly be the quickest way to get a DE army on the table all painted up. It wouldnt be heavy metal or anything but it would be a minmum.table-top standard.

When you paint red on a black background you'll have to use many layers or else it will look really bad. If you basecoat it white you don't have to worry as much about it.
And wheter you should use the black/red wash lightly or heavily depends on how much water you've used and the mix between the two paints. Try it out on one model before you get started with the lot, then you'll get the feel for it. You can wipe large flat areas clean with your finger if you have too much paint in too little water, but all this will come clear as soon as you start.
