im starting a chaos army and i'm wondering how to paint tzeentchy blue armor any help would be awesome. i'm going for a hue like the the blue ya find at the bottom of a flame:yes:
Hey I painted some Warriors when i first started so they were pretty basic, pretty much just black drybrushed with Chainmail. So...I went back and fixed em up cos i wasn't happy with em. I gave em a really heavy drybrush with chinmail so the were pretty much silver with black shadows, then i used blue ink (only watered down a tiny bit) and painted it onto all the flat panels like shoulder pads, chest plates etc. Only took me about an hour to do 12 and they look really awesome as a unit. Hope this helps!!!
wrong kind of armor color. i would guess to use regal blue, there has to be a good guide on GW's website. if that is a no go, then ask Centum, or he might show up here. he has painted 4000 pts(or more) of tzeentch.
If you have it, there's an old GW color called "nausiating blue", which has a lovely tint of purple to it. It would be a wonderful base coat to work up from.
