    How to mix tanned flesh?

Does anyone know how to mix tanned flesh, i am trying to paint some vossys and i cant find a decent basecoat among my paints and i see the WD article and they use tanned flesh. I have a pretty good selection of GW paints, so can any1 tell me how you might go about mixing up some tanned flesh becuase thus far all i have done is wasted paint attempting it. ANY help would be extremely appreciated.

well short of buying some tanned flesh, maybe try mixing bronzed flesh with a bit of dark flesh? it depends what shade you want though. You could also experiment with adding a colour like snakebite leather to a flesh tone (elf flesh for example)
Purely as a basecoat for flesh, i find snakebite leather on its own works well as its not too dark

I find using a beastial brown base is good and then mixing in some dwarf flesh and then highlighting up to the colour you need.

Trial and error is the best but do it on some paper or something so you don't ruin a mini in the process.
