To achieve a unique look, I'm planning on painting my own CSM chapter. It's supposed to by Brown undercoat and purple/secondary(black or red) armor. I have two questions on this:
1) Is it a good idea to use an undercoat color other than black, white, or grey?
2) Has anybody tried a color scheme similar to this before? Since I'm not following anything from the Codex, I'm afraid it will look as ugly as sin.
Well, you use black undercoat to create shadows and stuff. Why you wanna use grey or white?
I'm not. It just seems that every GW example has an undercoat with one of those three colors. I'm interested in a brown undercoat (only spraypaint I have that would work).Originally Posted by Kills
