I had some free time and found some necron models lying around that I never seem to have had the time for to do anything with them. I nearly finished three of them. As you can see the basing still needs to be done, so you don't need to comment on that.
I wanted to do something different than the 'standard' colour scheme in the Codex, so this is what came out:
Tell me what do you think, do you like the colour scheme? Any comments, critics or praises are welcome.
Nice rusty effect, unlike many necrons, it fits.
Woah! Looks awsome with a dark "body" and the glowing from the guns. If you are able to do it you could try to paint some glowing from the gun on the necrons. They look so evil. :w00t:

The colours I used were:
Chaos Black (undercoat, gun)
Boltgun metal (gun)
Blood red (eyes)
Brazen brass (main body)
Brown wash (main body) (very old paintpot, don't know if it still exists)
Goblin Green with Dark green ink (wire on gun)
Black ink (shadows on body)
Here is a new picture taken today with more light, don't know if it makes a difference.
