So because I have way more sisters of battle mini's then I will use for my current Witch hunters army, I decided to start a secound.
While looking through my mini's for a good model for my Canoness I found that Hospitaliar or what ever model that comes with the Inquisitor. So I thought to myself, 'I'll use her!'
Only problem was that for a weapon she has only that dinky arm blade. Not much of a weapon for a girl who was leading Sisters into the Eye of Terror!
Looking through my bits I found some Space Marine arms equipped with Axes, but a single bladed Axe just didnt seem to do it. (By this time I had decided her weapon would be a blessed weapon, and thus sutiably impressive looking.)
The obvious answer... Cut the axes up and make a double bladed massive axe! Its nearly as big as the model herself, I'm so happy.
Not able to easly attach it to her, I decided to kin of have it stuck into the ground next to her, bloody Space Marine and Guard heads arround it.
Still have to paint it, but all in all I think its going to turn out looking great! And basing an entire army arround the story of how my Canoness obtained such an axe (which obviously couldnt have belong to anyone but a Daemon Prince of Khorne) is clever!
So she found this awesome axe, went on a killing spree getting some guard and SM? Sounds like she's gone all chaosy on you...
No no no! Not Chaosy at all!
The Space Marine's had some 'Librarian' with them, and he was found to be a Psyker. All such creatures are heritics, and thus she and her sisters had to kill them all.
The Guardsmen not only had Pyskers with them, but employed muttie troopers (Ratlings and Ogryns)! Doing her duty to the Emperor, she hefted that heafty axe and went ah-slaying!
That said, yes they did spend alot of time in the Eye of Terror hunting down the foul Marines responsiably for the death of the Canoness before Jyrlii, and have been a little tainted. But to suggest such to them (no matter how obvious) is to show that your -clearly- insane and thus must be under the sway of Chaos yourself. And thus burned.
And if that Inquisitor calls her into question over killing mutties and psykers...
It is a dark day indeed when the taint can penitrait the Ordo...
