I've started working on painting up my Exorcist and decided to do something different with it. Instead of painting the banner on the back of the pipes white or bone, I went with orange, as it is the main color in my WH army.
However, after painting, I'm not so sure that was a good idea. Looking for opinions... like it? Hate it? Suggestions welcome. Thanks!
(sorry for the busy pic, but it made sense to include examples of the Sisters for comparison)
Ya i like this model, it looks fine, it brings out the model and orange is a wonderful colour. Maybe white would look nice thouch :hmm:
The gold grey knight man. These are hardy men who like cheese.
Ever thought of how cheese was found?:
`` I say sah, the milk in this barrel smells foul!``
``Oooohhh, give it a go!``
''Quack, damn you!''

I like it, mostly because it's so diffrent than your regular SoB. Keep with this and it will look very cool.
Oh, and kudos for painting that tank. The ridicolus ammount of details and the fact that it's quite large have prevented me from painting mine...
i like it, just add some highlighting and shading,a nd it will look very good
waiting for the sunrise!
hmm yeah.. its a weird thing that banner does look a little odd, but its hard to tell without it being finished id say it would look worse without it tho  the oranges gotta be there somwhere and thats the best place for it!

I'll try to do a quick and dirty on the back of the Immolator, and see how it looks, and post here again. Thanks to everyone that replied so far!

I like the orange, though I think it's a bit off from the vehicle. I think what you're seeing is the slight difference in color from the orange used on the pipes as oposed to the deeper color of the vehicle and the troops.
Alone the color is striking, but it does seem a little off balance. You might be able to bring it all together if you painted the insignia(white right now) a bold contrasting color.
