How do you guys model/represent demolition charges for you IG special weapon squads? Thanks in advance.
There's the demo charges the Catachans have, which are basically three sticks of dynamite (or whatever the name is in the 40K universe).
You can use Grenade arms then attach voxes to them for one. Just cut off the antennae and they look like boxes of explosives.
Catachan Voxes are very good for this since they are held in leather backpack things. Also try some of the Heavy weapon ammo crates or power packs. Sticking two of the Autocannon barrels together may look like a bundle of explosive sticks.
Also there are always these guys
You could amputate the arms and then attach them onto the Cadians of your choice.

When I say jump you don't ask me 'How high?' maggot! You jump!
I've considered using the autocannon ammo thing from the IG heavy weapons sprue, but with autocannons also in the army, I thought it would get confusing. I think I have figured out a solution using old fantasy plastic dwarf shields, space marine backpack vents and space marine bike hubcaps.
I like sticking together a bunch of bombs (melta, gernades, etc)
i used the end of a ork shoota and positioned it on my model to have the barrel look like a button.
WEll I was making Tau/Ig conversions and found that to make a high tec looking throwable demo charge jsut cut off the butt of a Tau rifle. Make it kinda square and attach it to the Ig arm that jsut ahs a hand. Paint it up to play the part. To add some flavor to that figure though I chopped up and added four flamer tanks on his back along with as many grenades as possible. If the opponet doent think this guy is a mad bomber then Im not sure what would pass.
