When I'm converting something I usually just raid the ol' bits box and find something cool.. failing that I raid my box full of models that I dont use anymore and start hacking bits off. I usually end up with something sweet.
I know other people who plan their conversions and order the parts etc and I know people who are like me and just use their bits box but use anythig and everything and just screw everything up...
How do you guys convert your models?
Green stuff, buy new models, waste money, but hey, my parents give me money, I use it, Im happy.
It depends on what kind of conversion. Scenery, always go to the hardware store. Models, raid the bitz box.
Henceforth no man shall set foot upon the world, and all around shall be set sentinals to ward away unwary spacecraft. We must accept that this place is lost to us forever, and is now the eternal habitation of abomination.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>another annoying thing i hate: 47,000 similies in one post. just thoght id throw that in there and see if anybody else hates it as much as i do.</div>
i sometimes ask my friends if they have some gooed stuff i can use, it allways helps for me
I usually build one model using bits box parts and if i like the convertion I order the parts and make a clean cut one.
It gives you a template to copy from and are able to change if it's gonna cost a bomb.
