Does anyone have a solution for quick and cheap power claws with a Khorne/Ork theme? I need them for my recently aquired ork army that im converting into a Horde of Khorne orks.
I built a handful of Power Klaws/Fists out of plasticard a while ago...
no pics, but with the orkish mindset you can make them pretty utilitarian looking and still stay in theme.
Just a matter of making it choppy/spikey/hurty enough, and you will satisfy the Ork side and the Khorney side.
I'm not completely sure what you mean by this... do you want to convert current ork power claws into more Khornish ones or vice versa. Or do you want to build them from scratch?
One way of making an Ork power claw a bit more choppy would be to replace the claw "fingers" with chainsword blades. This would link nicely in with the Khorne liking for chain-weapons and would look pretty good. Just search for chainswords on the GW website and it'll give you loads of options. Alternatively you could use any you have spare. The power claws might end up looking a bit big with 3 chainswords "fingers," but I dont think this would look out of place in an ork army at all. In fact, I think the big mek model has some chainsaw blades attached to his claw doenst he?
Hope this helps
I think you could make a good-looking one out of plasticard, just a crab-claw type thing, or a couple of chainswords.
You don't necessarily have to model it as a claw, either: a lump of green stuff coming out of his fist, with spikes on it, could also work.
