I want to paint imperial fists and i got told that the best way to do them is to base them white and the use 5-6 layers of yellow ink. Could any one actually tell me if this rly works or even if they use this technique
If you paint imperial fists a diffrent way could you also tell me how you do it.
Dnt judge my judgments plz
Its not my fault, blame some other guy
You may want to seek out Bobahat, he has not long done some Imperial Fists and they are pretty good looking. But generally yellow is hard to get looking smooth and well, yellow. I do know of using a brown base, perhaps Snakebite Leather, then adding increasing ammounts of yellow to it (golden then sunburst and perhaps bad moon yellow). I think yellow ink over white would take a long time and perhaps not that good - inks would give a shiny finish.

base coat white i dont know but you start with a dark yellow then add more layers on top but in lighters colours and the yellow you want add 3 layers to make sure ti stands out and leave the dark yellow in the rescesses
