Color scheme can be found here:
How exactly would you go about painting that color scheme? The blue looks similar to the color found on Crimson Fists and I am sure I can find some info on how to achieve that color, but what is really confusing me is the color of the pants. How would one achieve that effect?
I am new to painting and so I would like to keep it simple, but tabletop worthy.
Thanks for the tips,
Actually i painted one of my own imperial castellans recently. As far as i went, i painted as close as possible to that color scheme, it's very hard to match it but i feel mine was pretty close. I started with a midnight blue and worked my way up to an ultramarines blue on the edges. The chest armor and head were pretty easy, but the shoulder pads i kinda of pooped out and just added a watered down UM blue on the borders.
As for the legs, you can always add a little touch of brown ink to white, and use that mixture on top of a skull bone base coat. Of course you'll never get as perfect as that picture, but there's always close enough. Pictures of my castellan should be under my other account, Doomsday24, so check it out if u want to.
