I have always wondered.. is split painting hard?
I really want to start a space marine army.. let alone blood angels.. I see this awesome chapter.. Angels of Sanguine.. half red and half black.. how would i achieve such ? It seems like you would need two different painting steps or such to achieve? Is there anyone that knows or have some tips on it?
Treat each side of the model as a seperate model. The hardest part is painting the seam where the colours join in the middle. Get it neat.
Paint the red first, then the black (dark over light). Try to highlight and shade each side to the same level.
Other than that I would just paint as normal.
