i don't like the fact that grey knights are all metal and don't allow much varaition on different posses, so i thought i would make a conversion instead.
heres what i was thinking. i would use marine bodies (some type of marine with very ornate power armor if any exist) then i would use the head of the iron warriors aspiring champion, becuase it looks like a knights helmet. then i would use some kind of blade to represent the nemesis force weapon and it would be some sort of glave. only problem im having is finding a storm bolter bit.
any way tell me if you like my idea and tell me if you know any good bits to use.
That is not dead which may eternal lie,
for in strange aeons even death may die.
there is a nice vehicle storm bolter, and i would look into that. i used the box magazine from it, and it is awesone. i suggerst checking the website www.bwbits.com for good stuff, at reasonable prices.
hm your idea is actually nice, it would provide some nice poses, although it would maybe not exactly look like the actual GK, it would make a look alike army with more uniqueness. I'd go for it and post pictures of WIP
i will post pics if i make one. after studying for finals. i would use lots of purity seals for your modells. they are very grey knights-ish, and therefore should probably be used liberally. they are a nice addon for any marine, but are a must for the emperor's holiest soldiers.
Well, here's a good storm bolter bit:
And here's a good sword arms for the nemesis force weapon
Nifty other bitz and pieces

thanks for the bits website. i already ordered enough bits for 10 grey knights. i'll post pictures once i have them all painted and assembled.
