yer I agree it is alittle light, but i still like it. Its a really nice, neat, clean model. Good stuff (Y)
I agree with Gareth, a bit too light for a DA in my opinion, but then again, it's not MY mini
Nice start and shading. I would highlight the purity seals more, for one thing.
Still, nice so far...
Marion: You're not the man I knew ten years ago.
Indiana: It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage.
For the last time, there are
NO FEMALE SPACE MARINES!!!!!
Well i like it but if u want it to be darker just do a green ink wash! But other than that i like too!Very good.
To do the bidding of the god of decay death and corruption is to be rid of all things that makes you weak only in return for the control of your soul!
Thanks for all the great comments.
Now I know the colour is a bit controversial but hey I like it. Actually the colour I've used for the darkest parts is VMC Black Green which I think is darker than GW Dark Angels Green. I may in future reduce the size of the highlighted areas slightly, which should darken the colour a bit.
The quality of the paint job was my priority and working with a white base coat and layering up to the dark colours has enabled me to improve my painting greatly (I think).
Any way I plan to do some work on his Helmet, Purity Seal and Back Pack over the next couple of days. I'll post an update when i'm done.
Thanks again for your great comments
