    Objective Markers for Dark Angels/Ravenwing

OK guys I need some ideas for objective markers for a combined Ravenwing/Dark Angle Force. My ideas so far are:

    Resupply pod with weapons
    Fuel Dump for Ravenwing Speeders

I'm running short on creativity at the moment and was hoping you could help out - the objective markers must be based on a 40mm base.

    Thanks

    BLF

    Objective

What about using one of the unforgiven as a target/objective. Get an old style space marine ( Beaky helmet and studded left shoulder pad) paint it in pre-heresy Dark Angel colours (Black armour with a red winged sword badge). You could model him slumped on the ground injured, or hiding behind a wall.

An ornate broken sword. Or sword in a stone. Who knows, maybe it's the Lion Sword?

How about a fallen standard bearer who was carrying a sacred standard. Another idea is a destroyed dreadnaught, I remember reading somewhere that marines try and save the body inside so it can be transfered to a new dreadnaught.

IIRC, it's the other way round. They try to recover the Dreadnought so that a new pilot can be installed.

I always thought that the person inside was more important than the dreadnaught as they have been alive for so many years and ahve so much battle experience. On the other hand the actual dreadnaught is just a shell. But either way it makes ense that the marines would want to recover the wreckage.

either way, getting a dreadnought on a 40mm base will be tricky....

Doesn't have to be a whole dreadnaught, just enough to make it look like a wreckage
