I want to use a squad of rough Riders but i hate the idea of having them on horses, what i would like to use is some form of motorcycle instead. anyone done this before? Also, if you know of some plastic motorcycles small enough scale to work on guardsmen i would greatly appreciate a link. thanks.

HAT miniatures produces some WWII style german motobikes, but I have no idea what scale they are, they would work if the scales matched

I made mine out of space marine bikes, allthough they were cut down quite allot, i took off the lower exhaust pipe (on the back) the bolters and gun shield and the front wheel assembly. I then created an axle and suspension out of some empire bits (the ram rods from the cannon set), and used an empire shield in place of the gun shield....
This gives a fairly large dirt bike which fits quite nicely with the cadian models...
I'll try and get some pics
Hope that helped!!

The cadian/SMbike is pretty common for players who hate the idea of 12th century mongols running around the battlefields of the 41st millenium. The cadian/coldone is somewhat more complicated but looks pretty good.
